Macro backdrop
Volatility Index and Brent Crude Oil sit in the top tenth of their own range; Gold and Silver sit in the bottom tenth, of the 23 markets measured here, over daily closes from 26 June 2026 to 23 October 2026.
Each market's latest daily close against its own earlier closes in the window. A percentile is the share of those earlier closes below today's (an equal close counts half), so a new high for the period is the 100th. It says where a market sits, not where it goes next, and it is never a fair value.

How to read it
The track runs from the lowest to the highest close in the window. The pale band is the middle 80% of closes, the darker band the middle half, the tick the median, and the dot the latest close. The words beside each strip say the same thing, so nothing depends on the picture.
The change column is each market's move over its own last 20 sessions, so about a month for most rows and 20 days for crypto, which trades every day. Yields and the curve change in basis points; everything else in percent. The curve is the 10-year yield less the 13-week bill yield, both CBOE indices in the same unit, on the days both closed. A negative curve means the bill yields more than the 10-year.
The window is the daily record, about four months, so "high" means high for the season, not for the year. No row is marked as good or bad for anything else: what a high 10-year yield means for gold or the yen is a judgement, and this page leaves it to you. Each market's own page has its relationships on three windows, under What it moves with.
