What is collected

Like any website, the servers and content-delivery network that serve Kinzan record standard request information — such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time — for security, reliability and abuse prevention. These logs are kept for a limited period.

Analytics

Kinzan uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. It runs only if you press "Accept" on the banner shown on your first visit; until then nothing is sent to Google. If you accept, Google Analytics sets its own cookies (named _ga and _ga_…, kept for up to two years) and receives the pages you view, your approximate location, and your browser and device type. Google Analytics does not store IP addresses. Its advertising features are switched off. Google's handling of this data is described in its privacy policy.

Your choice is kept in this browser's local storage, not in a cookie. You can change it at any time with "Cookie settings" at the foot of every page; declining after accepting removes the Google Analytics cookies.

Advertising

Kinzan shows ads served by Google AdSense in marked "Advertisement" spaces. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads, and, where you allow it, to personalise them based on your visits to this and other sites. Visitors in the UK, the European Economic Area and Switzerland are asked for their choice through Google's consent message before any of this happens, and can change it at any time from the privacy options link that message provides. Cookies

Kinzan sets no cookies of its own. The cookies on this site are set by Google Analytics (only if you accept it) and by Google's advertising services (as described above).

Live charts from TradingView

The live charts section embeds charts provided by TradingView. Nothing is loaded from TradingView until you press "Load the live chart"; after that, this browser remembers the choice (in its own local storage, not a cookie) and loads charts directly. Once loaded, the chart is served by TradingView, which receives your IP address and the page it is embedded on, and may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy. To undo the choice, clear this site's data in your browser.

There are no accounts on the website yet. Account features, when they arrive, will live under a separate part of the site and will be covered here before launch.
