About Kinzan

The site is built around a simple idea: a move only means something against that instrument's own normal. So alongside every price and percentage, Kinzan publishes each instrument's own volatility and how unusual today's move is by that standard, together with where in the day the move happened and what it tends to move with.

Every number is rendered on the server, and every figure's provenance is set out on the methodology page: which figures are measured, which are derived by stated arithmetic, and which are written commentary. Kinzan is the web companion to the TraderX app.
