This is the least homogeneous group on the board, and reading it as one sector is the usual mistake. An advertising platform lives on corporate marketing budgets and reprices on digital ad pricing. An enterprise software vendor lives on seat counts and multi-year contracts, and barely notices the consumer cycle. A device maker lives on replacement cycles and on conditions in the countries where it both sells and manufactures. These respond to genuinely different news. What they do share is duration. Much of the value in these shares sits in cash flows expected years out, so the rate used to discount them matters as much as the cash flows themselves. That is why the group can fall together on a bond-market move that says nothing about any of their businesses. The second shared feature is index weight. Several of these are among the largest constituents of the US benchmarks, which means a move here is not diluted by the index, it largely is the index.
